Innovation Saves Millions for Logistics and Co.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Having introduced NR Ringless Ceramic Pistons for Automobiles and Small Engines this year, NIAMA-REISSER, LLC, a Vehicle and Propulsion Service Provider has been developing and marketing "Large Displacement" Internal Combustion Engine Pistons around the globe.

The most interesting markets are industrial equipment, like those of Mines, Construction, etc., besides stationary engines which are used for power generation.

In addition to OFF-Road applications, NIAMA-REISSER, LLC has been developing interchangeable pistons for leading brands in the industry, which are intended for ON-Road use!

Significant testing has been conducted while pulling 40 ton loads up and downhill gradients and determining efficiency (MPG) and Horse Power.

According to the company's CEO, Heinz-Gustav Reisser, "Diesel Engine End-Users can easily swap our interchangeable parts with their existing OEM aluminum or steel parts, when doing in-frame overhauls".

The company claims instead of using Cylinder-Kits that already include cylinder liners and pistons, the users should only purchase seal kits, cylinder liners and NR-Ceramic Pistons, etc.

Heinz-Gustav Reisser claims, OEM pistons generally cost 400-600 Dollars apiece: "While only manufacturing relatively small quantities, at first -batches of 3000 kits (a kit includes six to eight pistons), we will manage to offer each kit for $ 6,000.00 dollars. The additional cost will be recuperated by saving fuel. In an overhaul, you will only need to pay on average $ 3,000.00 more, to have your engine retrofitted with our pistons."

Here a hypothetical example:

A fleet of 6500 tractor trailer vehicles, covering each 100,000 miles annually, can save yearly $ 37,000,000 Million, once retrofitted.  Heinz-Gustav Reisser claims: "Engine overhauls are generally needed after 400,000 miles, during which it is the perfect time to implement NR Ceramic Pistons".

With the same amount of vehicles to be retrofitted, the retrofit pistons cost $ 16,000,000 Million extra to a generic in-frame overhaul. During the first year of operation, the cost of retrofitting will be amortized 100%, while accumulating $ 21,000,000 Million in additional savings, due to an increased MPG. Thereafter, the savings will be 100%.

In short: Tractor Trailers not only increase their Fuel Savings, but also further increase their performance while reducing the overall emissions.
