Upgrades will bring facilities into the 21st century learning environment
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 23, 2012 — The Guerneville School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the selection of Paul Bunton's BCA Architects firm to prepare the master plan for the entire district's facilities. The scope of work depends on the successful approval of the Measure F General Obligation Bond vote on June 5, 2012.
BCA's work will encompass both pre-bond planning and post-bond planning services to lead the district through the process of bringing their facilities (designed in the early 1980's) into 21st century learning environment standards. This will include: a comprehensive conditions assessment of all facilities, the preparation of a long range master plan, and full architectural and engineering services for implementation over a series of years.
Over the course of the next few months, BCA's team of architects and engineers will be working in collaboration with the district administration and the Board of Trustees to prepare and obtain approval of the master plan. BCA will assist the board with the community outreach efforts needed to obtain approval from school district constituents for the approval of the bond measure.
