LOS ANGELES, May 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Actor/Producer Frankie Cassavetes sponsors second reading of science fiction environmental screenplay "Pollen and the Ring of Harmony." The invitation-only event will be held at Hotel MdR Marina del Rey on Saturday, May 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. PST. This is the second in a series of readings before Mr. Cassavetes brings a reading for the general public.

The screenplay is about an alien named Pollen who is a protector of nature. Pollen travels the universe protecting nature when there is an imbalance. This imbalance has brought him to Earth. Accompanying Pollen is an amazing living ring with unimaginable, almost godlike powers that allow Pollen to serve as a noble "green" messiah.
Mr. Cassavetes is pleased to have author Francis T. Perry Williams reading the main part of Pollen. "This will be quite the event having him read," said Mr. Cassavetes. "He created the part to change the world and if I can make this into a movie, it will!"
Based on Francis T. Perry Williams' novel, the film will raise awareness of environmental issues through use of special effects, not violence or the use of weapons.
