Second $15,000 sweepstakes drawing in January
BRAINERD, Minn., Aug. 19, 2011 — When Linda Linquist had a minor car accident last November, she turned to the Internet and began researching ways to make and save more money.
In her search, Linquist stumbled upon the "Funding Your Finances" online sweepstakes sponsored by Foundation Financial Group. Linquist researched the company, and, impressed with Foundation Financial Group's services and reputation, she decided to give its sweepstakes a shot.
Foundation Financial Group presented Linquist with a $15,000 grand prize check on Thursday for winning its "Funding Your Finances" sweepstakes. Foundation Financial Group will award a second $15,000 grand prize in January 2012. While she continues the search for a car, Linquist said she would likely spend the money on a home improvement project that takes priority over a new set of wheels.
Linquist, who was between jobs when she entered the sweepstakes, said the sweepstakes cash was a very pleasant surprise. "I consider myself fortunate," Linquist said. "I really did not expect to win $15,000 in my lifetime. And thanks to Foundation Financial Group, my expectations are exceeded."
