Flu Natural Remedy: Quercetin Found in Gene-Eden, the Natural Antiviral Supplement

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 19, 2010 — Recently, researchers discovered that quercetin, a key ingredient in the natural antiviral supplement Gene-Eden, may be beneficial against the flu virus.

The flu virus causes a deadly disease, killing about 40 thousand people annually in the U.S. alone. Worldwide, almost half a million people die as a result of this virus.

Researchers at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology studied the effect of quercetin on the flu virus using a cytopathic effect reduction method. The research showed that quercetin has a strong anti-influenza effect. According to the researchers, quercetin "did inhibit virus replication in the initial stage of virus infection by indirect interaction with virus particles."(1)

Gene-Eden includes quercetin in addition to four other natural antiviral ingredients: epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), licorice, cinnamomum, and selenium. Together, they produce a strong, all-natural, antiviral effect against many viruses. In fact, hundreds of scientific papers have demonstrated the powerful antiviral effect of each of these ingredients. According to these papers, these ingredients can kill the HPV, EBV, hepatitis virus, herpes virus, CMV, and influenza virus.

The development of Gene-Eden was inspired by Dr. Hanan Polansky's Starved Gene theory that connects between the DNA of latent (chronic) viruses and major diseases. Gene-Eden is the product of a unique scientific process. At first, the scientists who developed Gene-Eden analyzed thousands of papers with a proprietary scientific text analysis computer program. Their objective was to identify natural ingredients with a strong yet safe effect against the most common latent (chronic) viruses. In this process, the computer analyzed more than 50,000 scientific papers. The results of this analysis assisted the scientists in selecting the five ingredients. Then, they used the computer program to analyze the thousands of papers published on each of the five ingredients. The results of the second analysis assisted the scientists in selecting the correct dose and type of each ingredient. These doses and types characterize the patent-protected, unique, safe, and effective formula of Gene-Eden.

If you want to fight the flu with quercetin, consider taking Gene-Eden.

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD, http://www.cbcd.net) is a research center recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization. The mission of the CBCD is to advance the research on the biology of chronic diseases, and to accelerate the discovery of treatments for these diseases. The CBCD published the "Purple" book by Dr. Hanan Polansky. The book presents Dr. Polansky's highly acclaimed scientific theory on the relationship between the DNA of latent (chronic) viruses and the onset of chronic diseases. Dr. Polansky's book is available as a free download from the CBCD website.
