FileCloud Announces a Google Chrome Extension to Save Documents, Images, Web Content, and Screen Captures With a Single Click

By using the FileCloud for Chrome extension, FileCloud users can now save, and easily share information while working within Chrome by selecting content and then opening the right click context menu in Chrome and then selecting the "Save to FileCloud" option.

Here's an outline of how simple it is to use FileCloud for Chrome:

  1. Install the extension in your browser. Once the extension is installed, set your FileCloud site URL and click connect. If you have not logged into your FileCloud portal, you need to first login.  The default upload path for files is My Files. But you can choose another folder.
  2. You can take page screenshot by selecting the "Save entire page ScreenShot" option. The screenshot is automatically uploaded to your FileCloud target directory that you specified.
  3. You can right click on an image, and save it to FileCloud.
  4. You can right click in any document, and save it to FileCloud.
  5. You can right click on any file, and save that file to FileCloud. While saving, you can also rename the file name and change the destination folder
