'Far, Far Away' by Whitney Wolanin at Movie Theaters Nationwide April 29

NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 21, 2011 — "Far, Far Away" by TopNotch® Records Singer-Songwriter-Pianist Whitney Wolanin (WHOA – Lan – in) will play at movie theaters around the US starting April 29 and will offer fans the chance to get a FREE download of her song from WhitneyW.com.

"Far, Far Away" features a medley of piano, guitar, drums, bass, mandolin, and violin about the false expectations young girls get from Fairy Tales and Disney movies. Quoting Whitney Wolanin: "College guys don't have white steeds, what a let down!" Feature movies during the song's theater airplay include "Prom," "Jumping the Broom," "Something Borrowed," and "Bridesmaids."

On Whitney's personal dedication to help "Stop Cancer," Dick Vitale has invited Whitney Wolanin to perform her original song, "Don't Take Her Away," about her mother Illona's struggle with Breast Cancer at the "Jimmy V Fundraiser Gala," May 20, 2011. Additionally, in her efforts to "Stop Cancer," her record label is collecting photos of cancer survivors to be used in a video to help raise awareness and money for "Stop Cancer" Research utilizing the music of "Don't' Take Her Away."

Also, on April 21, 2011, Whitney Wolanin will have her last performance using her Mezzo Soprano talents singing as well as playing the part of 12 different characters in the musical "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," the longest-running Off-Broadway musical of all time.

The new mini album, Whitney Wolanin 1, featuring 6 all-new songs, will go on sale on iTunes and other outlets around the world on April 26, 2011. The "Whitney Wolanin Red Piano Radio Tour," sponsored by Banfi Rosa Regale, will be on the road around the US in Fall-Early Winter 2011 after Whitney's graduation from Vanderbilt University.
