"Stop Cancer": A Call for Photos!
NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 15, 2011 — "Far, Far Away" by TopNotch® Records Singer-Songwriter-Pianist Whitney Wolanin (WHOA – Lan – in) will again play at movie theaters around the U.S. starting July 15 in conjunction with the final "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" movie and will offer fans the chance to get a FREE download of her song from WhitneyW.com. "Far, Far Away" features a medley of piano, guitar, drums, bass, mandolin, and violin and is about the false expectations young girls get from Fairy Tales and Disney movies. Other feature movies during the song's theater airplay include "Girlfriend," "Lucky," "Tabloid," and "Winnie the Pooh." Whitney Wolanin will also perform at the Barn in Nashville, Tennessee on August 14. Additionally, in her continuing efforts to "Stop Cancer," her record label is still collecting photos of cancer survivors to be used in a video to help raise awareness and money for "Stop Cancer" Research utilizing the music of "Don't' Take Her Away." Her new mini-album Whitney Wolanin 1, featuring 6 all-new songs, is now available on iTunes and other outlets around the world.
