A leading communication infrastructure provider for the sports and entertainment industry, ExteNet has shared several milestones in recent months:

  • In May, ExteNet announced the acquisition of Dallas-based enterprise communications infrastructure solution provider Telecommunication Properties, Inc. (TPI). As part of the acquisition, ExteNet now maintains network operations and responsibilities for Madison Square Garden, the LA Forum, AT&T Stadium, KFC YUM! Arena and the Kentucky Exposition Center, among others.
  • In March, ExteNet's multi-carrier distributed networks enabled advanced broadband wireless service and multimedia capabilities at five prominent venues that hosted the 2016 NCAA tournament games. Venues included Bankers Life Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, IN); Barclays Center (Brooklyn, NY); Dunkin' Donuts Center (Providence, RI); Webster Bank Arena (Bridgeport, CT); and Wells Fargo Arena (Des Moines, IA).
  • In February, ExteNet's outdoor cellular network helped San Francisco prepare for the NFL championship game and delivered long-term connectivity benefits to the City. ExteNet partnered with a leading national carrier to deploy a small cell distributed network which leveraged, and in some cases even modernized, the City and County of San Francisco's existing infrastructure to enable the communication needs of the residents and visitors of the City.
  • In January, ExteNet announced its renewed agreement with the American Hockey League (AHL) as the official and exclusive arena wireless network infrastructure provider. ExteNet has served as the AHL's wireless network infrastructure provider since 2013, working with AHL teams and venues to create opportunities for building and operating distributed networks in AHL arenas that enable 3G, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi based wireless services.
