Enymity Provides Most Practical Solution for Anonymous Online Purchasing

RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — For those who ask, "How can I make purchases online without broadcasting my personal information?" Enymity has the only viable answer.

Using their one-of-a-kind business method, Enymity offers a service by which a consumer can shop online in complete privacy, secure in the knowledge that their personal data is not being tied to records of the purchases they make, or disseminated amongst any marketing interests, or to anyone, for that matter.

Enymity does this by making purchases on behalf of the consumer, and thereby disconnecting the client's personal data from the purchase itself. For example, if a man wanted to buy a surprise gift discreetly for his wife, he would not have to worry about that gift purchase showing up in a shared account statement that his wife may view. Should a consumer wish to do so, they could join a website without anyone else's knowledge. If a client sought to arrange a surprise party for a friend or loved one, that client would have the ability to arrange for professional entertainment such as caterers and performers. As an anonymous acquisition service, any legal goods or services a client might wish to purchase can be procured in complete anonymity by using Enymity.

The first question to be asked, then, is obviously, "How does it work?" First, the client selects the specific product or service they wish to purchase anonymously. Then the client goes to www.enymity.com. It is recommended, although not necessary to the process, that they arrive at Enymity's website by way of a ghost proxy. Then the client will use Enymity's forms to enter all the specifications pertinent to the item or service they wish to purchase.  Next, they pay for their purchase and Enymity's service fee using their credit card number and expiration date. Those two pieces of information are then forwarded directly to Enymity's encrypted, third party payment processor. Enymity does not store either of these data elements; these are stored with the payment processor, thereby maintaining compliance with all the various record-keeping mandates. The client is then sent a receipt for their purchase to an email address that they have chosen. Enymity recommends for this email address to be established separately from the client's regular email. This completes the purchase from the client's end and, as one might guess (based upon the information that has been exchanged), it generates a bank record consisting of only purchase amount and date.

After this step has been completed, Enymity purchases the item or service on the client's behalf, using their own bank accounts to make the purchase. For an online membership or subscription, Enymity makes the purchase on the client's behalf and then returns login information back to the email address the client has provided. Enymity will purchase no more than a one-month membership/subscription and will opt-out of any automatic renewals, so as to divorce their account from the possibility of continued activity. In the case of purchasing actual physical goods, Enymity offers two methods of order fulfillment: Basic Cloaking and Deluxe Cloaking. A client may be concerned only with their banking records showing a purchase, and not so much with giving an address to the vendor. In that event, they would opt for the Basic Cloaking. Deluxe Cloaking provides complete anonymity between the client and the vendor by shipping the client's item to a distribution hub using a barcode label. A shipping label with the address of the client's choosing is applied at this hub, and then it goes on its way to its final destination. Hiring specialized services, such as a professional person or company, are handled on a case-by-case basis, along similar lines to the methods detailed above. Enymity's Specialized Service only facilitates the cloaking of the payment made to the third party professional company or person.

Enymity's expressed purpose is to guard its clients' privacy from any and all of the various, nosy, and unscrupulous interests that constantly seek to garner every last speck of personal information for their own financial gain. Enymity views these practices as violations of a citizen's unalienable 4th Amendment Rights, and will staunchly defend its clients' right to enjoy the online marketplace unmolested.
