EAS Wins 'Outstanding Multifamily Partner Award'

ATLANTA, May 5, 2009 — Energy Advisory Service (EAS), a national energy partner for the multifamily industry, was awarded the "Outstanding Multifamily Partner Award" Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Broadband Properties Annual Summit in Dallas, Texas.

The Award recognizes EAS's continued commitment to partnering with the multifamily industry to manage energy cost, consumption, and risk. "It's an honor to be recognized by the Broadband Summit for our efforts," says Nancy Hovind, President of EAS. "We appreciate the trust and confidence our clients have in EAS. We will continue working hard every day to earn their business."

The Outstanding Multifamily Partner Awards are given to a select group of three organizations that understand the unique attributes of the multifamily industry and how to best serve their needs, as well as the needs of their residents. The winners have been nominated and voted on by multifamily owners based on documented evidence of the partner's success at adding value to the owners' business and/or communities. "EAS's progressive and persistent way of doing business, combined with their skill and expertise in the industry has proven to provide reliable and consistent cost savings and has greatly enhanced our ancillary revenues," said Terry Fulbright, Vice President and Director of Ancillary Services for UDR, Inc. and member of the multifamily owners committee.

EAS provides full life cycle energy management service in deregulated markets throughout the country. EAS has procured and manages in excess of $100 million of power and natural gas on behalf of its 35 multifamily clients in 25 states.
