One at Palm Jumeirah to Reach 100 Meters, Offering Premium Residences at World's Most Exclusive Site
NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Developer Omniyat Group commenced construction recently on a new megaproject in Dubai. Called One at Palm Jumeirah, the project is an AED 2.5 billion premium residential development located at the trunk of the world famous Palm archipelago that will be the single tallest residential property on the Palm.

Designed by international architecture firm SOMA, One at Palm Jumeirah will offer 90 residences within the 25-story structure. Unveiled at the Cityscape Global Conference in the Dubai World Trade Center in September, it is scheduled for completion by 2017.

New York-based SOMA won the commission from a pool of world famous architects. Developer Omniyat, one of the most prolific luxury developers in the Gulf region, sought a revolutionary design for One at Palm, one that would help achieve record-setting prices by delivering an extraordinary living experience for its buyers. SOMA's work is under construction around the world, including a 690-foot-tall glass and steel condominium tower in Tribeca, a 168-room hotel and 231-residence condominium project in Dubai, the luxury Shaza Kempinski Hotel in Doha, and a private beach residence community in Beirut.
