DETROIT, Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Limelight Extensions, a Detroit-based luxury hair extensions brand, celebrates the opening of its global flagship retail store and exclusive beauty bar with a Grand Opening event on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 5:30-9:30 pm at 30969 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.

The event is free and open to the public. It will feature music by Celebrity Guest DJ NFL Baller Braylon Edwards and offer all attendees one-day-only exclusive product specials, complimentary Limelight Lady memberships offering exclusive product discounts, food, and drinks.
Limelight Extensions was co-founded by Detroit mother-daughter team, Malesa and Miranda Jade Plater with the mission of empowering women through providing the best possible hair extensions available. After years of trial and error with many hair extension purchases, Miranda Jade, a recent 23-year old Bowling Green University graduate proposed that the Platers create a company that would help make women's lives easier by personally assuming the responsibility of researching and procuring premium quality hair that was long-lasting, colored exceptionally well, and maintained its luster after extensive wear. Limelight Extensions also includes a community outreach component as well by working with and donating hair extensions to a local Detroit women's shelter.
