CSSi's Continued Growth and Global Patient Recruitment Expansion Brings Talented New Hires

CSSi has named Greg Fleming as Director of Business Development and Gemma Groppi as Senior Global Project Manager. Greg will be based on the West Coast working out of CSSi's San Francisco office while Gemma will be based in its UK office in London.

With over 15 years of experience working within the pharmaceutical and clinical services industry, Greg Fleming comes to CSSi with an extensive history of sales and project management excellence across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, media, and advertising. Formerly, Greg worked as a Business Development Manager directing sales activities to develop clinical trial patient recruitment solutions for multiple major global pharmaceutical companies. As the new Director of Business Development at CSSi, Greg will utilize his business experience in the clinical sector to guide several areas of business development with sponsor companies and CROs.

With a wide-ranging background in the pharmaceutical and health care industry spanning almost 10 years, Gemma Groppi brings her comprehensive knowledge of the international clinical trial processes to CSSi. In her new role as Senior Global Project Manager at CSSi, Gemma will utilize her technical and managerial knowledge of the full clinical trial cycle in a range of therapeutic areas. Gemma will enhance CSSi's current offerings of clinical trial support with her gained experience in FIM Phase I studies, as well as extensive experience in patient recruitment phases II-III.  Additionally, Gemma has vast experience in patient recruitment and feasibility services, having worked both on site and as a project manager for various indications, including Oncology. Based in CSSi's London office, Gemma will be responsible for the management of CSSi's global team of Local Enrollment Specialists™ (LES™) — these highly qualified clinical research professionals are providing local support to clinical trials in Europe, the Middle East and across the globe.
