Contamination Control Professionals Convene at Premier Conference and Exhibition in Boston

BOSTON, March 8, 2006 — CleanRooms Magazine will present its annual CleanRooms Contamination Control Technology (CCT) Conference and Exhibition March 15-16, 2006 at the Hynes Convention Center – Hall A in Boston, MA. Contamination control professionals work in multiple industries, including microelectronics, medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, cosmetics and food.

The CleanRooms CCT, now permanently sited in Boston, is the premier educational and business event for industry professionals responsible for developing and implementing contamination control technology for product purity and yield, facility design and maintenance, hospital hygiene, process and package engineering, and personnel safety. Six comprehensive program tracks across the two-day conference provide a unique and unparalleled cross-educational and informational forum for the entire community.

This year's keynote speaker will also address a topic of major interest to contamination-control professionals in all industries. Dr. John Howard, director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will address the critical role of contamination-control technology in providing for the safe advancement of nanotechnology and in the safe and efficient manufacture of nanotechnology-based products. Dr. Howard's presentation is open free to both conference and exhibition attendees.

"As one of the world's foremost hubs of biopharmaceutical and microelectronics development, healthcare, and educational institutions, Boston is a great location for our conference. Last year's professional conference attendance nearly doubled that of the event in 2003 (the previous time the show was in Boston), and all indications are that this year's program will attract an even greater audience," stated John Haystead, chairman of the CleanRooms Conference Steering Committee.

In addition to the over 60 expected contamination-control companies exhibiting the latest technologies, services, and product offerings, CleanRooms CCT will also feature a full slate of educational and informational activities on the exhibit floor including plenty of networking opportunities with a networking reception on Wednesday night.
