Best College Reviews Names The Top 50 Colleges For Adults Going Back To College

WOODBURN, Ore., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Best College Reviews, a ranking service for American colleges and universities, has released a list of the Top 50 Adult Education Schools. Data gathered from university websites regarding the percentage of undergraduates under 25, the acceptance rate, percentage involved in distance education were considered.  These factors, along with flexible options such as starting dates, accelerated options, online degrees, and transfer policies were used to create the ranking.

In today's competitive and global world the need for higher education is real.  For many adult learners school can be a challenge with the demands of a job or family.  The good news is that schools all over the United States are responding with creative solutions.  In fact, the fastest growing population of college students are over the age of 25 – adults who wish to advance their careers, dropped out of or never attended college, single parents, military, and those looking to better their life are all choosing higher education.  According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, between 2000 and 2011 enrollment of students over the age of 25 rose over 41%.
