WASHINGTON, June 7, 2010 — With a passion for education and firsthand knowledge of how to face and overcome one's own learning roadblocks, longtime D.C. resident Neesa Wilkerson brings a wealth of experience to her new Club Z! Tutoring branch. As Club Z!'s Area Director for Capitol Hill, the Southwest Waterfront, Downtown D.C., and Foggy Bottom, Ms. Wilkerson aims to help other students conquer the types of educational challenges she had to face alone.
"I knew I was smart," says Ms. Wilkerson. "I just didn't know how to unlock my intelligence. While in college, I began to understand the importance of daily routine and organization in my academic life … I expanded my seemingly abstract modes of learning in my favorite subjects to my more challenging subjects." Club Z!'s renowned tutoring program provides a perfect fit for the types of academic challenges Ms. Wilkerson describes, since tutoring is one-on-one and customized to fit a student's learning styles.
