SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — EmpInfo, a Silicon Valley cloud-based employment and income verification service, announced today that is has completed all of the integration through a national payroll provider and its first client, a nationally known, publicly traded Silicon Valley company will go live next week.

Jag Puttana, Founder and CEO, said, "This is a huge milestone for our company.  After experiencing similar challenges with employment and income verification in my first company, XTRON, I decided to create a cloud-based, technology-driven solution…with integrity. We looked in the market and there are still approximately 70% of companies and organizations that have not outsourced this service.  And, we saw a huge opportunity to create a service utilizing the latest technology & security, data redundancy, easier user interfaces for both employees and verifiers including mobile access, and a commitment to the highest level of customer service by US-based representatives."

The market for employment and income verification has one major player, a credit bureau called Equifax, and beyond that, is highly fractured with no other companies having obtained any significant market share.  With a commitment to the highest standards of integrity with regard to the utilization of the employee's data, EmpInfo has created an alternative in the market.

"This will be our focus and our only focus," commented Ed Chaffin, a board of director and the current acting Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.  "We understand that when companies outsource this service, they expect their vendor to mirror 100% the current manual process of the company. We will do that and commit to that.  And, our security, redundancy and user interface are unmatched in the market."

EmpInfo is also committed to offering this service to employers at absolutely no charge and will commit to a rapid implementation.  Commented Chaffin, "Most companies are smart enough to realize that if they outsource this service there is a significant revenue stream that we can create from the verifier community. Why any vendor offering this service would feel the need to charge implementation fees, employee per month record fees, and any fees, for that matter, is beyond our comprehension.  In fact, if enough volume and revenue can be anticipated, we'll consider a revenue share model with our clients."

To date, the company has been self-funded, and the leaders of EmpInfo are closing in on raising the first round of funding which will be used to expand the sales and marketing efforts outside of Silicon Valley and start attracting top talent, some of which are waiting in the wings to join! Already, the company has a deep sales funnel with another four clients due to become live in the next 30 days and over 30 other companies in some stage of the sales cycle.  "We have exhibited at a number of conferences in the past several months and the reception to our service has been exceptional," said Puttana.
