Click Effects Is the Slam-Dunk Choice to Deliver Content for the NBA All-Star Events at the AAC and the Cowboys Stadium

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 12, 2010 — From 10-gallon hats, to expansive highways, to tall people, the legend of everything in Texas being "big" lives on. Texas is going especially big this weekend, as it hosts the NBA All-Star Game. The chosen venues for the 2010 NBA ALL-STAR events, the American Airlines Center (AAC), home to the Dallas Stars NHL club and the Dallas Mavericks NBA team, and The Cowboys Stadium, are great examples of "big," with each venue having some of the biggest and most vibrant FULL HD Video screens in the world.

The AAC boasts 4 giant 1080 P FULL HD center-hung screens, 3 ribbon banners, including a 360-degree, 2,358 sq ft banner, plus various octagons, scoring screens, dasher and end boards all supplied by TS SPORTS and Lighthouse Technologies and driven by the biggest name in live event production systems, CLICK EFFECTS.

The systems of Click Effects, CrossFire, BLAZE, FlashBack and Pro Audio set new benchmarks for the delivery, management and control of content for display systems in stadiums and arenas. Using a simple point and click, Click Effects systems deliver scheduled and live impulse video clips, audio tracks, graphics, instant replays, animation and sponsor ads that not only entertain audiences but provide a powerful source of revenue-generating opportunities.

The Cowboys Stadium boasts an already-legendary 25,000 sq ft, 72 ft tall, 160 ft wide, 600 ton center-hung 1080 HD screen, four 280 sq ft screens on the lower concourse, upper fascia (ribbon) measuring 4 ft high by nearly 2,000 ft long, and 2 Cowboys Ring of Honor Displays totaling over 2,900 sq ft, all supplied by Mitsubishi Diamond Vision and again, powered by the systems of CLICK EFFECTS.

Click Effects is behind the scenes, delivering and managing all the content sent to all the screens in both of these world-class facilities. These unique, versatile and user-friendly systems allow the producer to near instantaneously manipulate and deliver content to the screens whether it is video, stills, stats, animations, ads, crawls, bugs, etc.

Ed Whitaker, Senior VP of Marketing for Lighthouse, is enthusiastic in his trust of the systems and staff of Click Effects. "We're thrilled to have worked with Click Effects in a large majority of our installations over the past several years and especially at the AAC. Their systems are the most intuitive and user-friendly and their commitment to service is incredible."

Sports are unique in that much of the action that takes place is unpredictable. Relying on a pre-programmed playlist is never an option, as each event is extremely dynamic. Having a reliable, user-friendly system like Click Effects, CrossFire or Blaze, that allows the user at a moment's notice to organize, manipulate, and select from thousands of videos, stills, stats, animations, ads, and even create and edit on the fly, makes event production appear seamless to the fans and sponsors alike. Delivering that perfect video or animation for the moment, whether it be a buzzer beater or a touchdown, brings another dimension of excitement to each event.

The systems of Click Effects have powered many of the world's major sports events, from the NBA All-Star Game and playoffs, to the World Series, the Super Bowl, the Final Four, the Rose Bowl, the NHL Playoffs, Indianapolis 500, PGA, several NASCAR and various rodeo events. Click Effects is especially proud to be delivering content in each venue at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
