Cemtrex Plans to Set Up a 20 MW Wind Power Project in India

FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Sept. 13, 2007 — Cemtrex Inc. (OTC: CTEX) announced today that it plans to set up a 20 MW wind farm project to generate green energy in south India. The proposed wind farm project shall have 13 wind turbines of 1.6 MW capacity each and will generate approx. 18000 carbon credits per year. Cemtrex will set up an Indian subsidiary to develop this turnkey project.

"India is currently the fifth largest wind power producer in the world and has gross wind energy potential estimated at 45,000 MW," said Arun Govil, President & CEO of Cemtrex Inc., "and we have identified the site that would allow us to sell two-thirds of the power for captive consumption and the rest into the electricity grid."
