Carolina Men's Clinic Celebrates Grand Opening of New Lake Norman Location, Just in Time for No Shave November 2014

Lake Norman clinic will welcome first patients on November 11

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Less than a year after opening its flagship location in South Charlotte, the Carolina Men's Clinic (http://thecarolinamensclinic.com/) is pleased to announce a new location in Lake Norman, just a short drive north of Charlotte. The clinic is also kicking off a special promotion in honor of No Shave November – when men across the country put down their razors for cancer awareness. From November 1 to 20, $50 from every office visit to the Carolina Men's Clinic will be donated to No Shave November.

"No Shave November's tagline is 'Let It Grow' – that's an idea we can get behind," remarked Matt Gillogly, director of the Carolina Men's Clinic. "Our medical team has 50 years' combined experience treating erectile dysfunction and other sexual health issues in men. Many of the men who walk through our doors have literally tried everything else and been disappointed. We can even help those who have experienced prostate removal and other profound changes after a battle with cancer."

No Shave November is a visible show of solidarity, the mission of which is to increase cancer awareness while raising funds for research and treatment. Men are encouraged to stop shaving and cancel their waxing appointments for the entire month and donate the money saved to the American Cancer Society.

Cancer is a significant factor in the development of sexual health problems. Prostate cancer and colon cancer are well known to cause performance issues, while aggressive treatment of nearly any cancer can result in reduced sex drive and trouble maintaining an erection. The physicians at the Carolina Men's Clinic understand the causes of sexual dysfunction and can develop a specific treatment plan for each patient. As the number one provider of ED treatment in the Carolinas, the Carolina Men's Clinic offers a comfortable and discrete environment to discuss these difficult health complications.

Sexual dysfunction isn't easy to talk about, but it's an important conversation to have nonetheless. According to Gillogly, most men over 40 will experience some degree of erectile dysfunction, or ED. Symptoms usually creep up imperceptibly slow. An important exception to that is prostate removal resulting from prostate cancer – in those cases, onset of ED is immediate.

The Carolina Men's Clinic develops an individualized plan, including custom medications, for every patient. The clinic uses only FDA-approved ingredients and has a demonstrated success rate of 92%, significantly better than Big Pharm solutions like Viagra or Cialis. The Carolina Men's Clinic guarantees its results – if a patient is not satisfied, he pays nothing for the office visit.

Gillogly concluded: "We're in the business of changing lives and relationships. We care about every patient who comes through our doors, and we understand that sexual health is a major component of total health and confidence."
