Experienced educator Leisha Baker and her husband Kevin, a business development professional, aim to support community schools and help Springfield area children study smarter
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 25, 2011 — In Missouri's Greater Springfield Area, new franchise owners Kevin and Leisha Baker, a 25-year marketing and business development professional and an experienced educator, are committed to making a difference in their community by owning and operating their own Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services branch.
"After lots of research, we knew that this company fit our passions and the needs of our community," Kevin states. Kevin and Leisha, who are parents themselves, also serve as Charter Members of the Christian County Lions Club, Kevin as the 1st Vice President and Leisha as the Historian. Leisha has taught children of all ages in and out of the classroom. In addition, she has also tutored many individual students and has volunteered for the Literacy Council of the Ozarks.
"We were looking to start a business, and we wanted to follow our dream of doing something that made a positive impact on children." says Leisha. "Club Z!'s tutors provide face to face, one on one tutoring, and we come to you – there is no need to find time to bring your student to a storefront."
