bMobilized Announces New CEO Mark Caron

Mobile Tech Veteran Joins Leading Mobile Web Platform

NEW YORK, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — bMobilized (http://www.bmobilized.com), the leader in mobile solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced the appointment of Mark Caron as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Current CEO Ben Seslija is moving to Europe to focus on strategic partnerships.

Caron has led a number of successful startups in the mobile industry, among them Omnipoint Communications, which Caron co-founded and led marketing and business development. Omnipoint sold for over $6 billion and is now part of T-Mobile USA. Caron was also founder and CEO of MobileSpring/Ztango (now part of RealNetworks), which launched the first inter-carrier text messaging service and became one of the most profitable mobile startups of the last decade. His Snac Inc., a mobile widget provider, was a "Top Ten Mobile App of 2009" and won the "Best Mobile Innovator of 2009" award. Caron has also been an advisor and/or investor in over 20 other mobile startups, including Banjo, ShopKeep and Verve Mobile.
