Bill Perry of Gunster Law Firm Named One of the Best Real Estate Lawyers in America by U.S. News & World Report

Experienced West Palm Beach attorney receives honor from respected peer-reviewed publication for sixth consecutive year

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Bill Perry, a renowned real estate attorney for Gunster Law Firm in West Palm Beach, has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America according to U.S. News & World Report in the real estate category for the sixth straight year.

Perry is a widely respected attorney who focuses on complex commercial transactions, real estate development and finance, homeowners' associations and condominiums, mining law and construction law for businesses across Florida. He joined Gunster Law in 1986 and has built a strong reputation throughout the region.

"It's encouraging to earn the distinction of being named to this prestigious list for the sixth consecutive time," said Perry. "Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to work with terrific colleagues and clients, and it has been an honor to help businesses overcome a broad range of legal challenges. Although we don't practice law for the recognition, this award is a reflection of the great work of the entire team at Gunster."

Best Lawyers in America is one of the oldest and most prominent publication in the legal field, and the list is based solely on peer reviews. Attorneys are nominated by their fellow legal professionals and cannot pay any type of fee for inclusion, and they must receive enough votes each year to continue appearing on the list. In addition, Perry is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a 2013 Top 100 Power Leader and 2009 CEO of the Year, both by the South Florida Business Journal. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and is a member of the Florida state and Palm Beach County bar associations.

Gunster is Palm Beach County's oldest commercial law firm, tracing its roots back to 1925. The firm has grown considerably over the previous three decades and now has more than 160 attorneys and nearly 200 staff on its team. "Our firm continues to grow our statewide footprint and to diversify in the areas in which we assist and advise our clients," said Perry. "We will continue to provide the sound legal guidance to the businesses and organizations that call Florida home."

Gunster, Florida's law firm for business, provides full-service legal counsel to leading organizations and individuals from its 11 offices statewide.  Established in 1925, the firm has expanded, diversified and evolved, but always with a singular focus: Florida and its client's stake in it.
