Penny auction trendsetter Beezid has announced a major change to their month-long promotional contest, making it easier for members to win some of the site's best-selling merchandise
MONTREAL, Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Beezid's "Perfect Game," which takes its name from the bowling term for a flawless 12-strike victory, is a new kind of event in which members accumulate auction wins in order to receive prizes. Members compete by bidding in auctions marked with special "Strike" locks, and top-ranking members are displayed on the site's Leaderboard.
Originally, the contest was going to award prizes to the first 10 members to score a "perfect game" of 12 Strike lock wins. But with the recent change, the prizes will instead go to the 10 highest-ranking members on the Leaderboard at the close of the month. This gives users coming late to the contest a chance to start earning Strike locks and compete.
The prizes, featuring some of Beezid's most popular items, include tablet computers and HDTVs, and represent Beezid's largest giveaway since hosting a $75,000 contest for new members during the 2013 holiday season.
