Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi's Vice President of Enterprise Information Security Joins International News and Information Site securitycurrent's Team of Industry Experts

Responsible for all aspects of vendor information security compliance at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Mr. Nero has over 15 years of experience. He served as Assistant VP at BNP Paribas, led Time Warner's Network Services team and headed a global InfoSec team for a top 10 Big Data startup. He also worked in the US Navy as an Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level 2.

Mr. Nero has done deep dives into compliance standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001/2, SOX, GLBA, NIST and conducted security risk assessments – including vendor assessments both remote and onsite. In addition to strategic leadership positions, he also has solid hands-on technical experience, implementing technologies and processes first-hand.

He will leverage his diverse background to provide actionable guidance in matters of regulatory compliance as well as deliver insight into today's increasingly complex network security associated business issues.
