SAN DIEGO, May 18, 2012 — Avioserv San Diego, Inc. has been selected to support Southwest Airlines' phased retirement of their 737 Classic fleet. In this capacity Avioserv will support Southwest's efforts to control its CFM56-3 overhaul costs, utilizing proprietary consignment material for engine overhauls, while marketing excess inventory as the sole consignment partner for decommissioned engines this year.
