Avioserv San Diego, Inc. Selected as Southwest Airlines Consignment Partner

SAN DIEGO, May 18, 2012 — Avioserv San Diego, Inc. has been selected to support Southwest Airlines' phased retirement of their 737 Classic fleet. In this capacity Avioserv will support Southwest's efforts to control its CFM56-3 overhaul costs, utilizing proprietary consignment material for engine overhauls, while marketing excess inventory as the sole consignment partner for decommissioned engines this year. David Leblanc, Avioserv CEO, added, "We are looking forward to supporting Southwest's cost containment efforts. They are an important customer and we are extremely grateful for the trust they have placed in Avioserv to implement such a program."
