Established in 2002, Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (“PHLBIâ€) is a non-profit institution 501(c)(3) focused on the treatment and prevention of malignant pleural mesothelioma. We support the research efforts of renowned mesothelioma surgeon Dr. Robert Cameron, who advocates the lung-sparing Pleurectomy/Decortication surgery for patients diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma.
