Mosaic Weighted Blankets Company Profile

girls.jpg Mosaic Weighted Blankets®, LLC Laura LeMond is the Co-founder of Mosaic Weighted Blankets®. Laura is a native Austinite, and a graduate of The University of Texas. She works as a professional consultant and is the proud mother of two boys. Laura was born premature and has had sensory integration related issues since birth. After years of trying to indentify solutions to calm her system, she started to discuss with her girlfriends ways to help herself and others in similar circumstances. That is when Mosaic Weighted Blankets® was formed in Austin, Texas. As Laura says: "I am a fraternal twin and was born 8 weeks early, weighing only 4 lbs. My mother would put me to sleep in the crib with my twin for months after we were born, and we would nestle up together before we could go to sleep. This is also called 'back in the womb' sensation, much like the same calming effect you get from a hug or the pressure from a weighted blanket. Mosaic Weighted Blankets® provide a way to help calm down and truly relax at any time of the day or night. They are a healthy and calming solution for so many disorders. That is the true miracle of this product. "I am so glad we can help so many people by offering the experience of a weighted blanket. Once you have one, you will see how much you will naturally gravitate to it, and how good it makes you feel. It really does calm the mind, body and spirit." We hope you love our product and welcome your feedback! Laura is 5 feet tall and weighs 125 lbs. To order the size blanket that she uses click here.
