Millenium Financial’s President and co-founder, Larry Thaul, CLU, ChFC is Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC). An author on the topic who instructs both professional and community continuing education classes in the Metro area, he serves the NYS Society of CPAs as resident expert in healthcare insurance and benefits, presenting both the local and state chapters’ CFO/Accountants in Industry Committee with periodic updates on latest developments in insurer plan offerings and their mechanics. He has published in the NYS Elder Lawyer and teaches courses entitled “Business Ethics” and “How to Get the Most Out of Your Benefits Plans.” Mr. Thaul’s media appearances include diverse Westchester cable TV, radio and special appearances on NYS Assembly TV. He organizes and moderates communitywide expert panel discussions on the topic, 21st Century Choices: Retirement and You. These public discussions are introduced by members of the state legislature and feature helpful professionals from other disciplines such as elder lawyers, accountants and tax experts, senior housing specialists and government program officials. Larry is a member of the Media Committee of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and of the Metro NY Chapter’s Legislative Committee. Having served as President of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA) – Westchester/Rockland Chapter, Larry continues to represent NAIFA in a legislative advocacy capacity. His belief in his profession as the ‘connective tissue’ between the individual/small business and an increasingly complex financial and regulatory world is seen in his mentoring of younger agents and brokers. He resides in Larchmont over 20 years with his wife. They have two wonderful sons.
