Michael Thompson is an author and attorney whose diverse career has given him an intimate knowledge of the worlds of business, law, and academia. He has worked with hundreds of senior managers, executives and teams in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is the Senior Consultant and Principal of RiverBlue Consulting, LLC, which provides a wide range of assessment, consulting, training, and executive coaching services to its clients. Prior to founding his own firm, he taught as member of the adjunct faculties of Duke Corporate Education, Inc. and the Center for Creative Leadership. Michael is also a licensed attorney and a Certified Mediator. In addition to his private law practice, he was vice-president and senior counsel of The Wachovia Corporation and taught at the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University, where he also served as Assistant Dean.
