L.G. Ransom was born in Miami, Florida but grew up living in various countries around the world including Europe and the British West Indies. She’s a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a photographer, an artist, a scout leader, and lives in the suburbs of Washington DC with her husband, two children, and one very spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. In July of 2012 she was diagnosed with invasive ductile breast cancer, but is doing fine. She is taking life one day at a time and doing her best to get through it... without loosing her sense of humor. She's created the cover art for several books, including: Sentinel Dawn: Journey Into Midnight, Hollin's Heir, and the up-coming books, Conquering Mount Ta-Ta and Kricket Hollin.
