Journey Camp Company Profile

Journey Camp is an annual learning-enrichment camp for students in grades 1 – 8, with a focus on creativity, teamwork, and problem solving. The camp is held once a year, on a weekend, and features three days of programming that includes workshops, hands-on activities, and exciting special events. Campers arrive on Friday afternoon, and stay through Sunday afternoon. Campers are grouped with a team of other campers their own age.The team of campers spends the weekend learning in a variety of elaborate and hands on formats that teach the sciences, performing and visual arts, mathematics, and engineering in the mostcreative ways possible. The goal of Journey Camp is to encourage the JOURNEY each student embarks on in the creative problem solving process. We provide a vibrant, elaborate, and unique atmosphere where students can learn in the manner that works best for them. Our staff works hard to remove elements of competition and end-result focused teaching practices, so campers can focus on learning through doing without the fear of failure.
