Global Tour Golf (GTG) is a wholesale golf products distribution company founded by Craig Pollard and Mark Ziminsky. The two salesmen combined their respective golf companies in 1995 with the goal of launching the best golf distribution company in the world. In Ziminsky Sales, Mark had a wholesale distribution company stocking and selling shoelaces and metal golf spikes. Craig's OCP Designs patented and manufactured multiple golf accessory products. Softspikes would soon become the top-selling golf cleat in the world and provide Global Tour Golf a stronghold in the golf course distribution business during the mid 1990s. To continue growing their business, Mark and Craig soon realized grips and tees were necessary products in their portfolio. A deal was struck with Don Galyean, owner of DG Sales. His company represented the top two grip and tee brands in the industry, and in 1997, Global Tour Golf acquired DG Sales. Soon thereafter, with Mark wanting to focus strictly on sales, Craig became sole owner of Global Tour Golf. Mark continues his commitment to GTG as one of the company's Southern California sales representatives. Craig continued to build GTG into the best wholesale distribution company in the country by adding thousands of golf products to the existing portfolio, making Global Tour Golf the "one-stop shopping source" for golf accessories. Global Tour Golf now has more than 25 outside sales representatives promoting its 1000+ products to over 10,000 accounts worldwide. Twenty percent of the items are exclusively distributed or patented by GTG and the other 80 percent are from trusted suppliers.
