Eduard Ciobotaru, a 2012 winner of the $10,000 “GLEE—Give a Note” award, became the only recipient from Florida to receive this distinction among elementary school music teachers. Now his students in Broward County play instruments and spread hope and joy throughout the community. A graduate of the Performance Arts Conservatory where he studied opera, operetta and Broadway musicals, he has won first place in a Broadway musical competition. For the main TV station in Romania, he also composed and performed popular music in his early years. His most recent CD release, “Move To The Beat”, which is available on Amazon, is a musical gem that sparkles with positivity, energy and sincerity. Presently, he lives with his wife Cristina and their sons David and Kevin in South Florida where they are all committed to their faith, finding it to be a genuine source of strength and comfort in their lives.
