CANONSBURG, Pa., Dec. 9, 2009 — Aquatech launched MoVapTM, a mobile evaporator system, at a private luncheon jointly organized by the Washington County, Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Aquatech. The theme of the luncheon was "Bringing businesses together and solving local problems locally."
The MoVapTM unit is a solution specifically designed for the growing frac and produced wastewater treatment needs of the Marcellus Gas Shale region, which includes Washington County. The MoVapTM unit is designed to reduce the volume of high total dissolved solids laden wastewaters from the gas well frac operation directly at the well head. The advantages of carrying out the operation are recovery of waste for reuse and reduction of waste discharge.
