The app allows users to easily search for any U.S. casino by name, city, state or zip code. The app then gives detailed information on each casino, including: address, phone numbers (with one touch calling), room rates, buffet prices, games offered, availability of money-saving coupon offers, turn-by-turn directions, plus a direct link to each casino's web site.
"We have had thousands of downloads of our previous iOS version in the App Store and users have been very satisfied with its capabilities," said American Casino Guide author Steve Bourie.
A special "Casinos Nearby" feature of the app uses GPS technology to show users a list, or map view, of all casinos within a 100-mile radius of their current location. Coupled with turn-by-turn directions, this is an especially useful tool for motorists traveling the highways and wanting to make a leisurely stop at a nearby casino.
A very popular feature of the app is its "Special Offers" section which lists all of the casinos that have money-saving coupon offers in the 2014 American Casino Guide book, as well as any other casinos that are offering special savings. Users can search for offers by casino name, or they can use the map view that will conveniently pinpoint nearby casinos offering those special savings.
