'All is Well With My Soul: Daily Devotions': Enlightening New Book Provides Daily Inspirations and Insights

SENATOBIA, Miss., Aug. 4, 2009 — Finding positive inspiration and motivation can be challenging for many individuals in today's difficult times. In her new book, "All is Well With My Soul: Daily Devotions (published by AuthorHouse)," author Vera Simpson Gaines offers readers a daily scripture and devotional message for each day of the year. Through her own struggles and triumphs in life, Gaines found inspiration to help others by compiling this easy-to-read, motivational book.

"All is Well With My Soul: Daily Devotions" will fully prepare the reader for the day ahead through its carefully selected scriptures and quotes, as well as insightful thoughts from the author herself. Gaines writes:

I felt a need for a devotional book for people to read on a daily basis to help them face life's struggles. This book will help those who don't know the Bible well enough to just turn to a page for words of encouragement. I did the work for them and also added suggestions for them to do and think about.

"All is Well With My Soul: Daily Devotions" shows readers that opportunities and blessings in life have been here for the taking all along, but it is up to each one of us to take advantage of these opportunities and blessings given to us by God. Once we have accepted God into our lives and realize our own full potential, it is then that we can pursue the opportunities in front of us and lead a happy and successful life:

The Heart

Man judges by the outward appearance but God judges the heart.

Some people would say the brain is the most important organ in the human body. I say the heart is more important. If one doesn't have a good heart, it doesn't matter how smart the brain is. If one has a good heart then the brain will be put to good use.

A good heart will see the need in the church, community, and world. A good heart will stop and help a stranger in need along the side of the road. A good heart will think to say kind things to others. A good heart will give others what they need without them having to ask. God loves a good heart because it will reveal the love of Him to those who don't know Him. People will know we are Christians by our love. Show God's love to everyone you meet today.
