Aegis Appoints Peter Bloom as President of Global Quality and Customer Experience

Industry veteran and COPC co-founder joins Aegis

DALLAS and MUMBAI, India, July 5, 2011 — Aegis Limited, a leading outsourcing services provider and part of the Essar group, announced today that it has appointed Peter Bloom to the new role of President of Global Quality and Customer Experience.

Prior to joining Aegis, Bloom was the president and co-founder of Customer Operations Performance Center (COPC, Inc.), the world's leading authority on operations management and performance improvement for customer contact center and BPO services. "Peter Bloom is an authority on operational performance and benchmarks of contact centers, having conducted more than 350 in-depth operational assessments across 25 countries," said Aparup Sengupta, managing director and global chief executive officer, Aegis. Prior to co-founding COPC, Bloom was a partner at Mercer Management Consulting and the COO of several manufacturing companies. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Massachusetts.
