NEW YORK, May 29, 2012 — The CIOP Institute is pleased to announce the insurance leaders and professionals who have successfully attained their Master Insurance Business Analyst (MIBA) Designation. Fulfillment of the requirements for the MIBA Designation includes participation in the rigorous MIBA Designation Class followed by successful completion of the MIBA Exam Project.
The MIBA Designation Program is a very robust development program that enables participants to obtain and apply advanced business analyst skills, methodologies, and techniques — all within the context of insurance. The MIBA Designation does this through an intense and compelling curriculum consisting of extensive and contemporary course content that is supported by real-world insurance case studies and reinforced through practice and application. In this manner, the MIBA program provides a particularly rewarding and highly relevant professional developmental experience for participants — while delivering immediate, tangible and very significant benefits to their organizations and projects.
Mr. Philip Mondanaro, a spokesperson for the CIOP Institute, observed that, "The MIBA program is a uniquely powerful learning experience that combines essential and contemporary business analyst technical knowledge and disciplines with critically important interpersonal skills training, including influencing without authority, flawless facilitation and communicating for results."
The MIBA Designation Class is conducted once a year and provides an intensely content rich presentation of all the critical bodies of knowledge, contemporary concepts, cutting-edge techniques, methodologies, tools and interpersonal skills associated with the insurance business analyst process, craft and best practices. Appreciating the large amount of material presented, the teaching approach is quite dynamic with a high level of class interaction — Instruction moves rapidly through underlying concepts, the fundamental bodies of knowledge, and onto insurance examples, illustrations and applications.
Following the Designation Class, MIBA candidates have 90 days to complete their MIBA Exam Project. The Exam Project provides the opportunity for class participants to review and reinforce the breadth and depth of the Designation Class' topical content. The Exam Project further enables the MIBA candidates to select among a number of application questions to practice the respective concepts and techniques within their specific organizational setting. MIBA class participants are also encouraged to team and collaborate with other candidates from the same sponsoring firm in completing the Exam Project.
The next MIBA Designation Class will be held October 16-19, 2012 at the American Management Association in New York City. More information regarding the MIBA Designation Program including course curricula, program brochure and registration forms are available at http://www.mibadesignation.com or by calling the CIOP Institute at 866.930.CIOP.
Please join us in congratulating those candidates of the MIBA Class of 2011 who have successfully attained their MIBA Designation:
