DALLAS, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Hyphen Solutions, LLC, and SkuSphere – Residential, LLC, The Residential Item Master Catalog, announced today a substantial enhancement to their strategic partnership with New Home Technologies, LLC, creators of Envision, "the Design Center you can have anywhere."

Users of the Envision product will be able to take advantage of native integration with the Hyphen Network.  All option selections made through the Envision system will integrate directly with BuildPro Purchase orders.  Orders will take advantage of the largest industry catalog "SkuSphere" to map selections directly to actual products for automated sales order entry systems of suppliers.

The SkuSphere catalog integrates into any existing system including bidding, procurement, CAD, as well as enterprise planning systems.  This integration gives the user automated product, takeoff, and SKU level detail on all appliances, equipment, materials, upgrade packages, or even, assemblies of products specified and utilized in the residential construction industry.

This enhancement allows Hyphen Solutions, SkuSphere, and Envision the ability to share the robust data each has gathered to enhance further Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Management for the Homebuilding Industry.

David B. Deniger, Chairman of Hyphen, stated, "This industry-wide, free catalog should help bridge the supply chain impediments that arise from conflicts in nomenclature among thousands of manufacturers, distributors, installers and builders. This shared catalog, available to the entire supply chain, will add clarity and reduce transaction costs for builders, installers, distributors and manufacturers while providing specificity of items purchased and installed."

"SkuSphere will enhance our SupplyPro Connect customers' fulfillment, which today, enjoy direct integration from our builders' ERP systems into vendor order entry systems with enhanced mapping of PO line item detail," said Felix Vasquez, President, and CTO of Hyphen Solutions, LLC. Further, he stated, "As the residential supply chain adopts the data feeds from the new catalog, buyer and seller technologies will perfectly integrate to include mapped manufacturer, distributor, installer, and builder nomenclature into a shareable item master complete with retail or wholesale descriptions. These common links will forever combine product specifications with bidding, procurement and fulfillment systems, eliminating manual processes and allowing construction automation to take a giant step forward, which would be consistent with other manufacturing sectors. This comprehensive catalog is offered and supported without charge," added Felix Vasquez.

John R. Nygard III, President of SkuSphere – Residential, LLC., stated, "It is an exciting time for the industry, this new development extends the capabilities of every participant in the supply chain. Participants can now take advantage of the 600,000+ SKUs and 2,000+ Brands in the catalog.  From the Homebuilder that established the Option, to the Supplier who can see the details for every item that it supplies in his number scheme without mapping each order, to the manufacturer who will be able to see where every sold item gets installed as a result of this offering. We also foresee the additional potential for the automation of bid setup as well as efficiencies in communication between the SkuSphere and the Envision application set."

Tim Costello, Chairman & Chief Executive of Builder Homesite Inc., stated, "New Home Technologies was created by the industry to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transmitting data between builders and manufacturer community. This agreement enables the industry to take a big step forward in this journey. We firmly believe that the frictionless transfer of data along the supply chain will enable improved efficiencies for business partners and improved consumer experiences."

The dream of the SkuSphere project began ten years ago when Hyphen first started integrating Homebuilder's back office systems with their trade partners using SupplyPro, a two-way communication portal that allows suppliers to work with builders regardless of which system a builder uses. Today over 40,000 users enjoy that electronic integration for up to date scheduling, collaboration and purchasing activities. The scheduling and collaboration functionality includes today bidding tools, inspection, electronic payment, lien releases and now warranty.

The integrated purchasing functionality impeded by the lack of SKU-level information on purchase orders.  Requiring Trade partners to invoke manual processes to identify product needs for each requisition. With so many SKUs available in the new home specifications, homebuilders, and their supply chain partners have struggled to keep their systems' item master current.

SkuSphere will provide this coordinated data to all supply chain participants without charge.
