Nation's fastest growing health club chain announces ribbon-cutting ceremonies in early January
NEWINGTON, N.H., Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Planet Fitness announced the opening of its first two Grand Rapids area locations at Centerpointe Mall in Grand Rapids and Rivertown Center in Grandville. Bryan and Laura Rief, Northville, MI-based Planet Fitness franchisees, own and operate 15 locations in the Detroit area and Toledo, OH. Ribbon-cutting ceremonies are scheduled at both locations the week of January 6th.

At Centerpointe Mall, the 40,000 square-foot location is one of the largest clubs in the chain and features an extensive selection of cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, stair-climbers, and stationary bikes. Planet Fitness also offers upper and lower body strength machines, a 30-minute PF Express circuit, 12-minute ab circuit, and new PF360 multi-function training unit. The club includes a designated PF Black® Card area, which features HydroMassage® beds, massage chairs, Total Body Enhancement booths and multi-level tanning.
The Rivertown Center club has the same broad equipment offering in a 25,000 square-foot profile. Both clubs will be open and fully staffed 24 hours, seven days a week.
