More Than 230 Exhibitors Are Ready for NAFA's 2010 Institute & Expo

PRINCETON, N.J., April 13, 2010 — With NAFA's 2010 Institute & Expo less than two weeks away, exhibitors are anxiously awaiting their opportunity to meet face to face with hundreds of fleet professionals – an audience worth millions of dollars in products and services for these companies. This year's I&E is being held at the Cobo Center in Detroit April 24-27 and features an Expo Hall with more than 230 exhibitors proving once again that NAFA's annual conference offers the best marketing value for companies seeking the fleet audience.

"Wright Express always sees NAFA as an important part of our annual marketing effort," explains David Maxsimic, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for Wright Express. "Our participation is one of the keys to a successful ongoing relationship with national fleet managers and fleet management companies. We always try to do a little bit extra in terms of design and program participation to support NAFA."

Known as the largest fleet industry event of the year, NAFA's I&E is the one event that companies which do business with fleet managers simply cannot afford to miss. Attendees range from fleet managers with less than five years of fleet management experience to those who have been working in the field for over a decade or more. Every industry is covered as those who manage corporate fleets to those managing public sector and government fleets are all in attendance. The I&E offers the rare opportunity to meet directly with the people responsible for vehicle selection, fuel management, and everything in between. Fleet managers from throughout the United States and Canada mark the I&E on their calendars each year as a must attend event – something regular exhibitors are well aware of.

"We researched the quality of people coming to the Show and feel like the quality of the attendees is high. I believe we're getting maximum bang for the buck." — Derek Kauffman, Smart U.S.A.

"It's very expensive to travel around and try to meet this many fleet managers in one spot. It would cost me thousands of dollars to meet everyone I meet here." — Michael Snyder, Reading Fleet Services

"It's all about networking and contacts. We attend because it's singularly the most attended fleet event. It's just a great place to meet people and we sell a lot of cars here." — Mick Moore, Mercedes Benz

The Detroit Three (Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors) will have exhibits alongside Audi, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo; Michelin, Midas, Goodyear, Firestone, NAPA Auto Parts, Pep Boys, AAMCO, and Valvoline will be showcasing their products and services in front of an enthusiastic audience; and fleet service providers like Reading Fleet Services, Insurance Auto Auctions, Wright Express, ARI, Adrian Steel Company, AmeriFleet Transportation, Comdata, and GE Capital will make the equivalent of a month's worth of sales calls in just two days. All total, more than 230 exhibitors are currently registered for the event.

The 2010 Institute & Expo coincides with the rebirth of the American car industry and marks the first time in more than 20 years that NAFA has held its annual conference in Detroit. Official media sponsors of the 2010 I&E include: Fleet Owner, International Fleet World, Automotive Fleet, Automotive Digest, Government Fleet, Fleet Financials, Canadian Automotive Fleet, CamAuto, Fleet Digest, Fleets & Fuels, Fleet Maintenance, Naylor, Fleet Focus, and FLEETSolutions.

Future I&E locations include Charlotte (2011), St. Louis (2012), and Atlantic City (2013). For more information, visit
