The Wise Owl: An Eyewitness to Jesus' Birth

Author pens down the Christmas story told through the eyes of an owl who lives in the stable where Jesus was born

FLORENCE, Texas, April 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — What took place in the stable the night Jesus was born? Through the eyes of an eyewitness who was living in the stable where Jesus was born, readers, especially the young ones, would get to experience Jesus' birth and first few days in Bethlehem. Author Boots Brizendine pens down a beautifully inspiring tale, told in first person through the eyes of The Wise Owl living in that blessed stable, the birth of baby Jesus. Wise Owl witnessed his quiet Bethlehem stable home turned into a maternity ward and shares his experience of the most holy night in this book. This Wise Owl's story is to be read all year round, not just at Christmas.

The Wise Owl had chosen to spend the night in his stable home feasting on the mice in the stable when strangers intruded into his quiet stable home. There had been strangers entering Bethlehem all week, something to do about taxes. Now a man and woman entered his stable home.

The excitement began when the woman gave birth to a baby. Neither The Wise Owl nor any of his stable mates had seen a human baby born. The stable animals stood in amazement because there was something special about this baby. He actually had a glow about him. The three strangers fell asleep so the stable animals descend upon the manger for a closer look at the baby. And the baby smiled at The Wise Owl.

Both the low society shepherds and the high society wise men came to Bethlehem to worship the baby. But soon all boy babies in Bethlehem were killed bringing sadness to the small town. And one night, The Wise Owl witnessed the three strangers leaving his stable home.
