National Deal-Making Event Expands Its Role-Reversal Pitch Event, Inviting Established Corporations to Pitch West Coast Startups

LOS ANGELES, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — SwitchPitch is the only event where established companies pitch pre-funded and approved projects to a roomful of startups and entrepreneurs. The event is expanding westward, for its inaugural event in Los Angeles event on Thursday, May 22, 2014, in the Ackerman Grand Ballroom, at UCLA.

The SwitchPitch event provides the opportunity for established organizations to search for innovation through partnerships with outside startups and entrepreneurs. Each company presents their needs and ideas for projects within the organization, and invites startups to submit their proposal for projects of interest and make deals with these reputable companies.

All projects are made available on the SwitchPitch website. The event is open for registration to any startups and entrepreneurs that have innovative solutions. Interested startups can register online on the SwitchPitch-LA website, early bird registration starts at $75 through May 1st.

These role-reversal pitching events have reached more than 1,200 startups across DC, NYC and Miami over the last year. More than 70 projects have been presented, resulting in more than 12 signed deals valued at $1.2 million in revenue for startups.
