Three Startups Compete in February Championship Round of the Dream Big America National Pitch Competition

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The February 2015 Finals Round of Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), was broadcasted live this morning, and showcased three startup inventors. The three companies that presented on the show were The Wine Chiller, Kill The Cup, and Flush Down.

The three startups competed in a Dream Big America round earlier this month, each winning their respective round. During today's Finals Round from 9:10-9:50am EST, the spokesperson for each company gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience. The Dream Big America show is broadcast weekly on the Doug Stephan Good Day Show (www.DougStephan.com) and through a live audio stream on www.DreamBigAmerica.us. The Wine Chiller (www.VWCDetroit.com) is a wine bottle holder solution to keep bottles upright in coolers. The Wine Chiller was invented by Bob Gray, and is based in Detroit, Michigan.

Kill The Cup (www.KillTheCup.com) is the nation's largest reusable cup campaign, dedicated to reducing the amount of waste created by disposable cups and bottles. Kill The Cup implements waste reduction campaign at colleges, coffee shops, and corporate offices across the country. Drew Beal, the company's Chief Environmental Optimist, pitched Kill The Cup on this morning's show. Kill The Cup is located in San Diego, California.

Flush Down (www.FlushDownToiletSeat.com) is an automatic toilet seat that closes the seat and lid after every use. Flush Down was presented by founder and CEO Tom Reminga, and is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
