Three Startups Compete on Dream Big America, Winner Advances To December Finals Round

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Dec. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), featured three new startups this morning on the live national radio show. The three companies that presented on the show this week included Peace Broom, Panda Laundry Factory, and XOXY.

The spokesperson for each of these early-stage companies gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience beginning at 9:10am ET. The Dream Big America show is broadcasted weekly on the Doug Stephan Good Day Show (www.DougStephan.com) and through a live audio stream on www.DreamBigAmerica.us. Peace Broom (www.PeaceBroom.com), based in Reno, Nevada is a product invented by Bill Wood. Peace Broom is an environmentally friendly, manual cleaning device that can be attached to a broom. The Peace Broom acts as a leaf blower, wide broom, rake, dustpan, and leaf shovel.

Panda Laundry Factory (www.PandaLaundry.com) revolutionizes the wash-and-fold process making it faster, better, and cheaper. The Panda Laundry Factory was founded by Samson Yi, and is based in Springfield, Missouri.

XOXY (www.xoxy.com) is a personal health and safety credential available via smartphone or our website and soon to be licensed to on-line dating sites. XOXY was founded by Jo Lynn Clemens from Phoenix, Arizona.

Following the show, listeners and supporters have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup company by visiting the Dream Big America website or by texting 'DBA' to 612-223-DREAM (612-223-7326). The voting period ends Wednesday, December 24th at midnight Eastern Time. The startup that receives the highest number of votes will be announced during next Friday's show, and will advance to the Finals Round on December 26th to compete against the other weekly winners of December's competition.

Last week, Plum Print, presented by founder Meg Ragland, received the highest number of votes and will continue on to the Finals Round along with Lisa Brambila with BioUrn.
