Reflecting this dedication, SNG President & CEO Andrew J. Garnett consistently speaks to various groups. On Thursday, July 3, Garnett will speak about special needs travel at the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla. Joining him to speak will be Cheryl Echevarria, SNG travel partner; and a representative of Norwegian Cruise Line. The largest organization of blind and low-vision people in the U.S., the NFB raises the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and their dreams.

At the convention, Garnett will emphasize how it is possible for blind and low-vision individuals to realize their travel dreams and see the world.

In addition, SNG will have a booth at the 2014 Center for Independent Living (CIL) Broward ADA Expo on July 12 and 13 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. At the Expo, which showcases the talent of people with disabilities with activities including yoga, Zumba®, an interactive wheelchair basketball clinic and fashion show, SNG will demonstrate how travel is possible for anyone with a special need.

Special Needs Group, Inc. is the leading global provider of wheelchair rentals, scooter rentals, oxygen rentals and other special needs equipment rentals.

"Many people don't realize that even though they have a special need, it is possible for them to enjoy traveling and vacationing," said Garnett. "At SNG, we have the knowledge about how individuals with special needs can reach their travel goals. We are very pleased to share this information with as many people and organizations as possible."
