In addition to the "40 Under 40" honorees, this inter-generational acknowledgement of the contributions of diverse tech professionals also includes two special categories including 'Game Changer' and 'Silicon Icon.'

Ms. Archambeau will be presented with the 2015 'Game Changer' Award at an inaugural reception, awards ceremony and celebration on Wednesday September 16, 2015, hosted by Airbnb at The Atrium in San Francisco. The 'Game Changer' Award is given to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the digital media and high-tech sector through technological advancements, outstanding leadership in advancing diversity, and notable corporate management.

In March, a public call for nominations was issued by theREGISTRYBayArea.com, Digital Diversity Network and more than 25 outreach partners, including tech diversity organizations and tech company employee resource groups (ERGs). Nominees were evaluated based on their professional achievements and influence within their industry, as well as board affiliations, civic engagement and other leadership roles.
