Sport celebrities and personalities join to raise money for educational and athletic opportunities for youth
DALLAS, Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The Nancy Lieberman Foundation is proud to announce the Third Annual Celebrity Golf Classic featuring Annika Sorenstam to be held at Prestonwood Country Club, The Hills Course in Plano, Texas.

The Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital and The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano Celebrity Golf Classic presented by WorldVentures Foundation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
Participants will join Hall of Famers Nancy Lieberman and Annika Sorenstam to help improve the lives of children and raise funds for educational scholarships for college, laptop computers, back-to-school backpacks, and DreamCourt programs. This Celebrity Golf Classic will feature a special golf clinic hosted by one of the most renowned female golfers in history, Annika Sorenstam. The golf outing will also include a fun-filled day on a championship style course with various celebrities, prizes at different holes, and an awards ceremony.
Celebrities who have already committed to participate in this tournament include: golf superstar Annika Sorenstam, former NFL players Tony Dorsett, Preston Pearson, Everson Walls, Marcus Spears, Liffort Hobley, and Hurles Scales, ESPN Analyst and Former NBA Star, Stephen Howard, ESPN sportscaster Jay Harris, actor Burton Gilliam, retired MLB pitchers Jack Lazorko and Rich Hand, former Texas Rangers, Michael Young and Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, current right fielder for the Detroit Tigers, Torii Hunter, and former Dallas mayor Ron Kirk.

The event will tee off at 7:30am on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with breakfast, registration, and a golf clinic hosted by Annika at the Driving Range. At 9:00am the tournament will begin with a shotgun start. Campisi's will provide lunch for all participants, and an awards ceremony will follow play.
